Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal information Fannon Fitness collects through this website, why we collect it, who else sees it, and how long we keep it.
1. Who we are
Fannon Fitness — Colin Fannon, personal trainer and fitness and nutrition coach.
Email: info@FannonFitness.com, or use the contact form on this site. Either reaches us.
This website was built and is maintained for us by Web Centers USA and Windley Works.
2. Information you give us
When you send the contact form we collect what you type into it: your name, your phone number, your email address and your message.
We collect this only because you chose to send it. You do not need an account to use this site, and we do not buy contact information from anyone else.
3. About what you write in the message
People contacting a coach often describe things that are genuinely private — an injury, a health condition, a medication, their weight, what they eat, or what they want to change about their body. You are welcome to tell us as much or as little as you like, and there is nothing wrong with keeping it brief at this stage.
Two things are worth knowing before you type.
First, whatever you write travels by ordinary email and is stored in a log on this website's server, exactly like any other enquiry — the arrangement in sections 5 and 6. It is not a medical record system and it is not encrypted end to end.
Second, we are a coaching business, not a healthcare provider, so what you send us is not protected by medical confidentiality rules. We treat it as private and never pass it on beyond the automated spam check described in section 5, but the protections are ours, not a hospital's.
If something matters and you would rather not put it in writing on a first contact, just say you would like to talk, and we will arrange a call.
4. Information collected automatically
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, and where they arrived from. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and receives your IP address, your approximate location (usually city level), your browser and device type, and the pages you view.
We also record that the contact form was successfully sent, as a count. That record contains no name, email address, phone number or message text — only that a submission happened, so we can tell which pages bring us enquiries.
Google's own handling of this is described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can stop Google Analytics collecting your visit with Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
We carry no advertising or remarketing pixels.
This site also sets two small cookies of its own on every visit: fannon-fitness-session,
a session cookie that lets the site tell one visit apart from the next while you move between
pages, and XSRF-TOKEN, a security cookie the contact form uses to check that a submission
really came from this site. Both are created by the software the site runs on, hold a random
code rather than anything about you, are sent only to this website, and expire
120 minutes after your last page view. If you block them, every
page still reads normally, but the contact form will not send.
The videos on this site
Our pages include videos hosted on YouTube. A YouTube player loads directly from Google when a page containing one opens, which means Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies — the same as if you had opened the video on YouTube yourself. This happens whether or not you press play. Google describes its own handling of this in Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not show a cookie banner asking first. If you would rather the players did not load, block cookies in your browser settings. Every other page reads normally, but the contact form will not send (see section 7).
Links that leave this site
Some links here open somebody else's website — our YouTube playlist, our Instagram page. Once you follow one, you are on that company's website and their privacy policy applies, not ours. We do not pass anything about you along with the link.
To book a session or ask about coaching, use the contact form on this site. That goes straight to us, and section 1 describes exactly what it collects.
Fonts and other page files
Everything else this page needs — its typefaces, images, styles and scripts — is served from this website itself, so no other company sees your visit because of them.
Server logs
Our web host keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses and requested pages. These are ordinary hosting records used for security and troubleshooting.
5. Who else sees what you send
A contact form submission is first checked for spam (see below), then reaches three places:
- Our own mailbox — the message is emailed to us at info@FannonFitness.com.
- Web Centers USA — Web Centers USA builds and maintains this website, and receives a blind copy of every submission. They keep this copy as an independent record so that a message which fails to reach our mailbox can still be recovered and answered. They use it for nothing else and share it with nobody.
- This website's server — each submission is also written to a log file on the server, described in section 6.
Spam checking
Before a submission is delivered, it is checked by CleanTalk, an anti-spam service run by CleanTalk Inc. The check sends CleanTalk the email address, name and IP address of the sender and the text of the message, and CleanTalk answers whether the submission looks like spam. CleanTalk keeps what it receives for a short period under its own privacy policy at cleantalk.org/privacy.
A submission CleanTalk flags as spam is not delivered to our mailbox. A copy marked as caught goes to Web Centers USA's archive instead, so a genuine message caught by mistake can still be found and answered. If you sent us something and heard nothing back, email info@FannonFitness.com and we will look for it.
Beyond that, we disclose personal information only where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety. We do not sell it, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask to join.
6. How long we keep it
- Submission log on the server — 365 days. Entries older than a year are deleted automatically.
- Emails in our mailbox, and the Web Centers USA copy — kept while they are useful for coaching you or answering your enquiry, then deleted.
Training plans, nutrition plans and the notes we keep while coaching you are business records kept outside this website, under whatever we agree when you start.
7. Your choices
You can ask us to send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. Email info@FannonFitness.com and we will respond.
Deleting the log entry and the emailed copies removes our record of your enquiry, so we may not be able to continue a conversation already in progress. We will say so if that applies.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies stops the YouTube players setting theirs. It also stops the contact form sending, because the form relies on the security cookie described in section 4. Every other page reads normally.
8. Children
This site is aimed at adults, and we do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, use the info@FannonFitness.com and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how we collect or use personal information — including adding analytics, or moving payments or coaching onto another platform — we will update this page and change the date at the top.
